A family story built on love, resilience, and a mission to make every guest feel safe, welcome, and cared for.
It started with a mother’s love
Hi, I’m Rebecca — owner of Bite Me Kupcakez, baker, mom of four, and proud daughter of an incredible woman.
My mom, Debbie, started this bakery in 2011 after I was diagnosed with a severe gluten allergy. What began as her way of keeping me safe quickly became something much bigger.
She created a place where families could enjoy something sweet without having to worry about what was hidden inside.
Carrying forward everything she built
When my mom passed away in October 2024 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, I promised that her work, her values, and her love for this community would continue.
Today, my husband, sister, brothers, and I work together to keep that promise alive — one cupcake, one celebration cake, and one customer at a time.
Every order that leaves our bakery carries a little piece of the love she poured into this place from the very beginning.
Sweet should feel good too
We put care into every ingredient and every recipe. Our goal is to create food that tastes beautiful, feels thoughtful, and gives people with food sensitivities a place where they can enjoy something special with confidence.
We believe great food should feel comforting, natural, joyful, and made with intention.
More than a bakery job
One of my greatest joys is mentoring our young team. For many of them, Bite Me Kupcakez is their very first job.
I love teaching the same lessons my mom taught me: kindness, creativity, responsibility, and hard work.
And now, seeing my own children work beside me — the same way I once worked beside my mom — makes this bakery feel even more like home.
